Are you looking to make a meaningful impact at a national think tank that champions moderate, values-driven policy? Since 2005, Third Way has served as a vital force against political extremism, advocating for practical solutions across areas like climate, the economy, and national security. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Business Operations to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in the United States. If you are a strategic thinker who thrives on building efficient systems and fostering a supportive workplace culture, we would love to hear from you.
What you bring
As our Senior Manager of Business Operations, you will act as the internal engine of our organization, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for managing the intersection of people, processes, and infrastructure to support our mission. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance across all internal and external agreements.
- Overseeing office logistics, facilities management, and vendor relationships to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.
- Partnering with executive leadership to align operational workflows with our broader strategic objectives and organizational priorities.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a blend of operational rigor and empathy. You should have at least five years of experience in business operations, contract management, or facilities management, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional background. Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments are essential. You must be a clear communicator who can translate technical or operational complexity into actionable insights. We value individuals who are digitally fluent, comfortable with modern workplace technologies, and capable of leading with both confidence and inclusivity. A commitment to our mission and the ability to remain adaptable in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment are key characteristics of the ideal candidate.
What we offer
We provide a competitive annual salary range of $85,000 to $100,000. In addition to financial compensation, we are dedicated to the health and wellness of our team members. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Life and disability insurance.
- An employee assistance program.
- Paid time off.
- Flexible hours and a hybrid work environment.
