At Rocketship Public Schools, we are dedicated to unlocking the infinite potential within every student. As a non-profit network of public elementary charter schools, we work alongside parents, educators, and community leaders to transform the future for underserved populations across the country. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager of HRIS & Talent Systems to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of our Talent Team, overseeing the configuration and strategy of our HRIS, specifically Workday, while ensuring our systems effectively support the staff who serve our schools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday updates, ensuring our HRIS aligns with organizational priorities while maintaining data integrity and system security.
- Manage day-to-day talent system operations, including the generation of critical reports and dashboards, while serving as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to streamline organizational processes through automation and provide strategic roadmap development for our talent technology stack.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in HRIS roles, with a minimum of 3 years focused on direct Workday configuration and administration.
- Proven expertise in managing Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, and Advanced Reporting.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- A deep commitment to our mission and the ability to handle sensitive personnel information with high levels of discretion and integrity.
- Preferred: Workday Pro HCM core certification and previous experience within the education or non-profit sectors.
