Senior Manager Corporate Communications at Twitch

This role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United States, with potential office locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, or Seattle.

Key outcomes

• Manage daily reactive media inquiries by collaborating with internal teams to identify facts and engaging directly with reporters to represent our brand.
• Formulate clear, concise narratives and strategic recommendations to address complex business and community topics.
• Monitor, assess, and resolve multiple reactive issues simultaneously, ensuring sound judgment under pressure.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists to manage challenging stories and correct inaccuracies.
• Create reactive messaging, FAQs, and scenario plans for emerging issues that could impact community trust.
• Provide expert strategic counsel to senior executives regarding communications and reputation management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate communications, gained either in-house or at an agency.
• Proven track record of managing press inquiries, sensitive issues, and crisis situations.
• Established network of media contacts and outlets.
• Ability to operate effectively at both high-level strategic and tactical execution levels.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience providing direct counsel to C-level executives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A genuine enthusiasm for the Twitch platform and our diverse community.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience working within the entertainment, media, or user-generated content sectors.
• Personal familiarity with Twitch as an active user of the platform.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $106,400 to $185,000 USD, depending on your specific market location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
