The opportunity
As our Senior Manager, Capital PMO, you will serve as a vital link between our strategic goals and the physical execution of our capital projects. Based in Massillon, Ohio, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence from Tuesday through Thursday, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of our capital portfolio. Your work ensures that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with our high standards for quality and efficiency. You will be the architect of our project management framework, providing the governance and analytical rigor needed to keep our operations moving forward.
A day in the life
- You will design and maintain our capital project portfolio framework, establishing the standards, tools, and stage-gate processes that guide our teams from concept to completion.
- You will partner with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, translating high-level business objectives into actionable plans while monitoring key performance indicators to track our progress.
- You will facilitate portfolio reviews and stage-gate meetings, providing the coaching, performance analysis, and reporting necessary to ensure transparency and accountability across all ongoing initiatives.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in project management or a related field. You hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar discipline, and a PMP certification is highly preferred. You possess a strong background in capital equipment and a sharp analytical mind that allows you to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Because you will be working closely with senior executives, you bring a high level of executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at every level of the organization. You are also an advanced user of project management software and the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Project.
