At KSQ Therapeutics, we are on a mission to understand the role of every human gene in disease, tissue, and cell function. Our work in CRISPR-enabled functional genomics has allowed us to build a massive, predictive dataset that is shaping the future of oncology and immuno-oncology. Since our founding in 2015, we have grown into a clinical-stage biotech firm led by industry experts, and we are now looking for talented individuals to join our mission-driven team as we develop the next generation of breakthrough medicines.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Manager or Associate Director of IT Operations to lead and evolve our information technology function. This is a full-time, senior-level position that offers a high-impact opportunity to shape our internal infrastructure. You will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with colleagues across every department to ensure our technology solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with our scientific goals.
What will you do?
- Oversee the daily operations of our IT support services, including help desk management and the provisioning of end-user technical support.
- Manage the full lifecycle of our IT systems, which includes the deployment, maintenance, and upgrading of cloud and on-premise servers, operating systems, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
- Drive strategic IT planning by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement new business capabilities, optimize existing processes, and improve our overall operational efficiency.
What makes you a great fit?
We value candidates who combine technical expertise with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset. You should be a proactive problem-solver who can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical colleagues. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, combined with at least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, AWS, Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- A strong understanding of cloud concepts like SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS, as well as experience with cybersecurity and data privacy standards.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing projects within an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Experience working within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred, though your ability to adapt and work autonomously is what matters most.
What's in it for you?
Joining our team means becoming part of a friendly, deeply scientific, and fast-paced environment where your contributions have a direct impact on our drug development efforts. We offer the following benefit:
- Hybrid work flexibility once you are fully onboarded and established within the team.
