Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Qloo

At Qloo, we are dedicated to decoding consumer preferences through our proprietary Taste AI technology. By analyzing over half a billion records related to cultural entities, places, and public figures, we provide brands with actionable insights without ever relying on personally identifiable information. Following our recent Series C funding, we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our remote team and help us expand the boundaries of what our AI can achieve. You will be joining a collaborative, high-impact environment where curiosity is celebrated and every team member plays a vital role in our growth.

What you'll be doing

• You will design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and algorithms, ensuring they remain robust and performant in a production environment.
• You will lead data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis to continuously optimize our AI systems.
• You will collaborate across teams to integrate your models into our core infrastructure while implementing real-time monitoring tools to drive ongoing performance improvements.

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you should have a strong foundation in data science and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a machine learning or ML engineering role, specifically with hands-on work in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• A degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Statistics, with an advanced degree being highly preferred.
• Strong technical proficiency in Python and PySpark, along with experience using SQL for data querying.
• A solid understanding of model evaluation, deployment best practices, and A/B testing.
• Experience working within cloud environments to deploy models at scale.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical findings for various stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can take ownership of your projects.
