Sahara AI is building a decentralized platform that centers on the sovereignty and provenance of artificial intelligence. Backed by major investors like Binance Labs, Sequoia Capital, and Samsung, we provide infrastructure that is trusted by over 35 leading institutions, including Microsoft and MIT. We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our remote team and help us advance our mission of making AI equitable, transparent, and accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities

Design and refine intelligent agents powered by large language models.
Work alongside our team to iterate on prompting strategies that boost agent performance.
Troubleshoot technical hurdles during development and establish best practices for agent creation.
Partner with model providers to fine-tune and optimize performance.
Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends and breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Must-haves

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
Strong programming skills and a solid foundation in algorithms.
A genuine passion for exploring large language models and a broad technical vision.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
The ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Prior experience working on projects involving large language models and agent-based applications.
Background in fields like NLU, intelligent customer service, or virtual human development.
A strong sense of product design and user experience.
