What you'll be doing
- You will apply diverse machine learning methods to address complex healthcare challenges using cloud-based infrastructure.
- You will transform innovative AI prototypes into robust, production-ready solutions by applying rigorous engineering standards.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with our engineering, science, and product teams to identify high-value use cases and integrate sophisticated AI and machine learning features into our applications.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for solving real-world problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A degree in a STEM field such as computer science, data science, mathematics, or bioinformatics, combined with at least six years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise in Python for the full data science lifecycle, including ETL, feature engineering, model training, and deployment, alongside proficiency in SQL, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Strong proficiency with AWS, containerized compute like Docker or Kubernetes, and version control systems like Git.
- Fluent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- A highly analytical mindset and an interest in working within the healthcare industry, particularly with complex medical data.
