We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Israel on a full-time, on-site basis. At Pendo, we are on a mission to improve society's experience with software. Founded in 2013 by former product managers, we provide a platform that helps teams understand and drive product success. Our Machine Learning Group is central to this effort, as we build everything from classical algorithms to modern generative models that provide our customers with actionable insights. We are a fast-growing company backed by prominent investors like Battery Ventures and Salesforce Ventures, and we pride ourselves on a culture that is as passionate and dynamic as it is collaborative.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support machine learning features while strictly adhering to MLOps best practices.
- Partner with data scientists, product managers, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into clear system requirements.
- Coordinate with our broader engineering teams, including backend, frontend, and DevOps, to ensure our machine learning deliverables integrate seamlessly into the core product.
Requirements
- A B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience working within the machine learning engineering industry.
- Proven ability to write production-grade Python code.
- An M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science is considered a strong advantage.
- A customer-first mindset paired with solid product thinking.
