The opportunity

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in weaving artificial intelligence into the very fabric of our products and internal operations. You will be tasked with designing and implementing sophisticated solutions to complex business problems, working closely with subject matter experts to ensure our technology is both maintainable and impactful. This is a unique chance to work within a mostly Python-based stack, collaborating across frontend and backend teams to build pipelines that interpret complex document corpora and leverage the latest in knowledge graphs and generative AI infrastructure.

A day in the life

• You will partner with stakeholders to identify critical business challenges and architect scalable, efficient machine learning systems that process and interpret large-scale document data.
• You will stay at the forefront of Generative AI advancements, integrating these cutting-edge tools into our existing pipelines while implementing robust observability and evaluation frameworks.
• You will act as an internal champion for AI, helping team members across the company understand the potential of our tools and empowering them to prototype their own AI-driven solutions.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of experience in machine learning and a deep passion for delivering high-impact solutions. You thrive in fast-paced, startup environments and possess the following skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and a strong background in managing complex codebases.
• Proven experience with MLOps and delivering production-grade solutions within a cloud environment like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI and the ability to develop, evaluate, and rapidly iterate on machine learning models.
• Strong collaborative skills, with a history of working effectively across cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of AI technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of knowledge graphs and modern version control systems like GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel occasionally for our onsite company meetings.
