Senior Legal Insurance Product at Wakam

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Insurance Legal Product team, where you will help us fulfill our mission of enabling transparent and impactful insurance for everyone, everywhere.

What you'll be doing

• You will design comprehensive insurance products and coverages, including defining limits, exclusions, and deductibles in close coordination with our pricing experts to ensure both regulatory compliance and commercial success.
• You will take ownership of formalizing and validating essential product documentation, such as policy wordings, certificates of insurance, and product summaries, while collaborating with distribution partners to meet market needs.
• You will actively contribute to our ongoing project to simplify insurance language, ensuring that our documentation remains accessible and clear for all policyholders while adhering to strict industry regulations.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Master’s degree in insurance law or a business-related field, along with a strong background in insurance, specifically within SME and Cyber lines. We are looking for someone who thrives in an agile environment and brings the following skills:

• Extensive experience in product governance and the ability to navigate complex legal and insurance frameworks.
• Professional proficiency in English, as you will be working with a diverse, international community of colleagues and customers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, paired with a rigorous, analytical, and autonomous mindset.
• A collaborative spirit that allows you to work effectively across various departments, including sales, legal, and compliance.
