The role
We are searching for a Senior Leader Procurement Sourcing Executive to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. Based in our Chicago, Dallas, or Scottsdale offices, you will work on-site Tuesday through Thursday. This is a senior-level leadership position that requires at least 10 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategy and leading a team of professionals to achieve our financial and operational goals.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute complex sourcing strategies and negotiations to improve service quality and reduce costs, ensuring we meet our gross margin targets through the use of RFPs and industry best practices.
- Analyze category spending, market trends, and operational data to forecast progress, identify savings opportunities, and proactively address coverage gaps in collaboration with our service provider management and client operations teams.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of sourcing professionals while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Skills and experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation, ideally within facility maintenance or the retail and restaurant sectors.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to leverage ERP systems and data analytics tools to drive supply chain optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and familiarity with Six Sigma or lean methodologies.
- Proven ability to build complex supplier partnerships and manage budgets effectively.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required, while an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a hybrid work environment that balances the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. This role also involves up to 25% overnight travel to visit client sites, regional offices, and supplier locations.
