Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our Fulfillment Tech Team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. We need an experienced professional who is ready to take on strategic initiatives and help us build the future of our technical infrastructure.
Your impact
- You will own the scoping and execution of major features, guiding them from initial design all the way to final deployment.
- You will collaborate with our developers, SREs, and product teams to ensure our systems remain stable and scalable during our growth.
- You will drive the architectural evolution of our platform, profiling systems to identify bottlenecks and planning for future capacity needs.
What you'll need
- At least 7 to 8 years of experience as a software engineer working with highly scalable systems.
- Strong proficiency in Elixir and Liveview.
- Hands-on experience building event-driven systems using tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- A solid grasp of SQL and experience working with relational databases like Postgres.
- Deep knowledge of functional programming, architectural design principles, and building resilient systems that handle concurrency and multi-threading.
- The ability to effectively diagnose live systems and trace errors in a production environment.
- Fluency in English.
Perks and compensation
The base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $185,000. In addition to competitive pay, we offer the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
