The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Engineer to join our fully distributed team. In this role, you will be a key player in shaping our digital product, translating complex requirements into seamless, user-friendly experiences for the families we serve. You will have the autonomy to experiment with new technologies and the support to drive innovation within our stack. A day in the life

• You will design, develop, and deploy features for our client-facing web application, working primarily within an AWS ECS environment using React, Node.js, and Docker.
• You will collaborate closely with our agile team to iterate on our platform, participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and requirement planning.
• You will contribute across the full stack, including UI development, API design, and database management with Postgres, while mentoring teammates and sharing your expertise.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of experience in full-stack or API development. You have a deep understanding of JavaScript and React, and you feel right at home building APIs with Node.js and Express. Beyond your technical skills, you are a proactive problem solver who enjoys the fast-paced nature of a startup. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you are always looking for creative, collaborative ways to get things done. Proficiency in English is essential for this role, and we value candidates who are eager to learn and adapt to new cloud-based development challenges.
