Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Java Software Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere. You will be instrumental in delivering and maintaining Order Management Systems and Point of Sale platforms, utilizing a serverless architecture to ensure our clients receive scalable and high-performing solutions.
Your impact
- Design, build, and support robust software solutions for retail platforms, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and clients to translate business requirements into efficient technical implementations.
- Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous peer reviews, comprehensive documentation, and the creation of clean, scalable APIs.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a collaborative problem solver who thrives in a flexible environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with exposure to retail or commerce data infrastructure.
- Deep proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with serverless computing.
- Strong expertise in Event-Driven Architecture and working with message brokers like Kafka or SQS.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with a desire to share knowledge and work as part of a cohesive team.
- A proactive mindset that embraces ambiguity and values continuous learning.
