Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, specifically prioritizing candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who can work from our office three days a week.
Your impact
- Design and build scalable, robust Java APIs using Spring Boot and JPA to manage intricate financial data and transactions.
- Maintain high standards for code reliability and security by writing thorough unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
- Act as a technical leader by mentoring junior team members and collaborating across product, sales, and customer success departments to ship great features.
What you'll need
- Extensive professional experience building maintainable enterprise Java applications.
- A strong commitment to quality, including a deep understanding of testing frameworks and manual developer testing.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a focus on continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to any audience.
- A collaborative spirit and a growth mindset, ideally backed by previous experience in an early-stage startup environment.

The salary range for this position is $133,000 to $185,000, depending on experience.
