Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Bogota. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for a seasoned professional with over five years of experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining our core infrastructure and ensuring our collaboration tools run smoothly for our global workforce.
Your impact
- Take ownership of our core collaboration suite, including Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft 365, to ensure high performance, security, and a seamless user experience.
- Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations while building out the technical documentation necessary to keep our processes efficient and scalable.
- Serve as a key technical resource for the intranet and various SaaS applications, troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating with the wider IT team on infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a deep technical background. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior systems administration role, supported by a degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Expertise in managing Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages, along with experience using automation tools to streamline IT workflows.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and a solid understanding of database administration.
- A professional command of English and the ability to create clear, concise technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or CompTIA Server+ are highly valued.
