As a Senior Business Analyst within our IT department, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, define requirements, and drive the successful delivery of IT solutions. You will leverage your expertise in business analysis, process improvement, and technology to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
This position can be hybrid, but needs to be local to the Des Moines, IA/surrounding area to work onsite as needed.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
Participate in full life-cycle software development following agile methodologies with IT Project Manager and development teams Analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes Work with developers to ensure requirements are documented and implemented correctlyPrioritize enhancements and small projects based on business needs and company strategic initiatives Develop business UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cases that reflect the business requirementsDevelop documentation and training materials as requiredAssess business process and system inefficiencies to identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfactionConduct demos or training necessary for the successful execution of the projectProvide advice and guidance to others in the technology solution and inform best practicesProvide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulate ideas and viewpoints to management, peers, and others; identify and initiate projects; manage resources; drive the resolution of issues; and hold self and team accountable for resultsIdentify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focus on quality improvement and data management; ensure data is reliable and valid; develop process improvements or re-engineer and recommend elimination; integrate new systems and processes with existing ones; and partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategiesProvide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; and adapt to competing demands, Provide project-level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use stories, future state proposals)Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent experience and IT certifications may be considered in lieu of educationProven experience of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT projects and systems.Strong understanding of business processes and technology solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in requirement gathering and documentationExperience with data analysis and mappingStrong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship-building skills & communication skillsExperience with Agile development methodologyEffective meeting management skills to initiate, develop agenda, conduct, and communicate decisionsStrong attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyPreferred Skills and Experience
