As a Senior Business Analyst within our IT department, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, define requirements, and drive the successful delivery of IT solutions. You will leverage your expertise in business analysis, process improvement, and technology to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
This position can be hybrid, but needs to be local to the Des Moines, IA/surrounding area to work onsite as needed. We could be open to remote positions for those outside the Des Moines area given skills and experience.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
Analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes Work with developers to ensure requirements are documented and implemented correctlyPrioritize enhancements and small projects based on business needs and company strategic initiatives Develop business UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cases that reflect the business requirementsDevelop documentation as requiredAssess business process and system inefficiencies to identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfactionConduct demos for the successful execution of the projectProvide leadership to peers by collaborating with others; provide advice and guidance on best practices; articulating ideas and viewpoints to management, peers, and others; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for resultsHelp identify, create, and facilitate process improvements and ensure data is reliable and valid; integrate new systems and processes with existing ones; and partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategiesProvide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholdersProvide project-level analysis – produce required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use stories, future state proposals)Follow Agile methodologies with IT Project Manager and development teamsRequired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent experience and IT certifications may be considered in lieu of educationProven experience of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT projects and systemsStrong understanding of business processes and technology solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in requirement gathering and documentationExperience with data analysis and mappingStrong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship-building skills & communication skillsExperience with Agile development methodologyEffective meeting management skills to initiate, develop agenda, conduct, and communicate decisionsStrong attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyPreferred Skills and Experience
Healthcare or manufacturing industry experience Certification(s) in Business Analysis and/or Project Management Experience with requirement/issue management systems, like Azure Dev Ops (ADO)Knowledge of development and SQL codingKnowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O Knowledge of SalesforcePhysical Requirements
