We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will act as a bridge between our business stakeholders and our technical teams, ensuring that our IT solutions are both innovative and perfectly aligned with our strategic goals. We value candidates who are local to the Des Moines, IA area for our hybrid work model, though we are open to discussing remote arrangements for exceptional applicants. Please note that we are currently unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements while conceptualizing new processes and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Partner closely with developers to ensure that technical implementations align with business goals and that all project documentation is accurate and thorough.
- Lead the creation of User Acceptance Testing cases and conduct project demonstrations to confirm that our solutions meet the needs of our internal and external customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in technology and process improvement. We look for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst on IT-focused projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and industry certifications.
- Proven expertise in Agile development methodologies, requirement gathering, and project management.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, documentation, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Bonus points for experience in the healthcare or manufacturing sectors, as well as technical knowledge of SQL, Dynamics 365, or Salesforce.
