About the Role

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mobile engineering group, working with a diverse team to deliver new features and enhancements. You will work across our technology stack, which includes Ruby on Rails for the web, Preact for the front-end, and a mobile architecture built on Swift and Kotlin using MVVM patterns. We are looking for someone who is ready to solve complex problems while championing strong communication, mentorship, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our flagship mobile application, SwipeSimple, on the iOS platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to design and deliver high-quality, scalable features.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to your fellow engineers, fostering a culture of code reviews, pair programming, and professional growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Proven ability to design and build highly testable, scalable applications.
• Strong proficiency with UIKit and either experience with or a keen interest in learning SwiftUI.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• A flexible mindset that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to coach others and provide constructive technical guidance.

Location

This position is location-neutral, meaning you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000. Beyond the base pay, you will be eligible for cash bonuses and equity awards based on your performance and experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
