The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help us build and maintain a cutting-edge cloud ecosystem. You will be a central figure in our efforts to champion DevOps culture, implementing best practices in architecture, security, and deployment. By working closely with our application developers, you will touch everything from machine learning models to complex video transcoding pipelines. Your work will directly influence the quality and performance of our services through the power of automation.
A day in the life
- You will design and manage our cloud environment using Terraform to ensure our infrastructure is modular, scalable, and fully version-controlled.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that our infrastructure changes and application deployments are seamless and reliable.
- You will architect and maintain high-performance solutions on AWS, managing networking components like VPCs and load balancers while proactively monitoring our systems for peak efficiency.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments. You possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture and have a proven track record of solving complex technical challenges. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically using Terraform.
- Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and networking concepts such as subnets, routing, and traffic management.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid scripting skills and a background in building automation tools.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Bonus points if you have experience with Python or Bash, or hold professional certifications in AWS or Terraform.
