What you'll be doing
- Architect and develop high-level solutions to complex rendering challenges within Unreal Engine to support our large-scale game experience.
- Collaborate closely with artists and tech artists to guide the development of end-to-end workflows, including shader authoring and geometry processing.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize memory management and performance across all platforms to ensure our visual targets are met.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this senior role, you should have five to eight or more years of experience driving graphics improvements within a AAA development environment. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and background:
- Deep expertise in real-time rendering for video games.
- Strong proficiency with modern graphics APIs such as Vulkan, OpenGL, or D3D.
- Experience writing shaders using HLSL, GLSL, or Cg.
- A proven track record of performance optimization and low-level memory management, specifically on console hardware.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring junior team members and collaborating across disciplines.
- Fluency in English.
