We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to create developer-focused visuals that enhance our marketing, sales, and product storytelling.
About the Role
As our Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll work closely with the Director of Product Marketing and cross-functional teams to create visually compelling assets that communicate the value of Nx to developers and engineering leaders. You’ll be responsible for marketing design, brand consistency, and technical storytelling across web, digital ads, case studies, and sales collateral.
We’re looking for a proactive, senior-level designer who can think strategically and work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and product teams. You should feel comfortable explaining and defending your design decisions, understanding the market and business impact behind your work, and collaborating with others to solve problems creatively.
What You’ll Do
Create compelling marketing assets, including landing pages, digital ads, white papers, and sponsorship materialsDesign illustrations, diagrams, and animations to explain complex technical conceptsSupport sales and marketing teams by designing case studies, pitch decks, and one-pagersEnsure brand consistency across our website, documentation, and social mediaDevelop templates for recurring design requests, such as social graphics and event handoutsContribute to the evolution of Nx’s brand identity as we expand our marketing presenceMust-Have Qualifications
5 or more years of experience in marketing, brand, or visual design (preferably in B2B, SaaS, or developer tools)Strong portfolio showcasing technical storytelling, UX design, and brand assetsSkilled in Figma and other industry-standard design toolsAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging visualsProven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teamsStrong communication skills – able to explain and advocate for design decisions in context of business goalsExperience with web and ad design, including social media assetsUnderstanding of accessibility standards and design best practicesComfortable working asynchronously in a fast-paced, distributed team; proactive communicatorStrong autonomy in taking ownership of a problem and coming up with creative solutionsNice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience in developer tools, DevOps, or cloud infrastructureStrong understanding of software development processes and familiarity with modern workflows (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control systems)Familiarity with Git, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend concepts (not required, but helpful)Knowledge of motion design and animation for marketing campaignsExperience creating developer-focused marketing materialsCompensation and Commitment
