We are currently looking for a Senior Game Server Engineer II to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex, scalable gameplay systems designed to support millions of global users while adhering to high engineering standards.
- Take ownership of our server infrastructure by applying a DevOps mindset to maintenance and development.
- Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, artists, producers, and QA to foster a culture of technical excellence and effective communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in server development, specifically with backend services that have successfully scaled to millions of users.
- Deep understanding of game client and server architecture, along with practical experience in DevOps philosophies.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Working knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal.
- A collaborative spirit that aligns with our core values, including the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
What we offer
We provide a competitive base salary range of $140,000 to $175,000, which is determined based on your experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health and professional growth:
