The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Game Application Security Analyst to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will act as a force multiplier for our security analysts, helping us identify those who attempt to compromise our platforms and spoil the fun for our community. You will serve as a vital bridge between our investigative work and our engineering and data science teams, ensuring that we have the tools and techniques necessary to isolate bad actors and maintain fair, honest gameplay across our titles.
A day in the life
- Lead investigation campaigns into potential vulnerabilities and adversaries, while clearly communicating risks and findings to leadership and game development teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical problem-solving, coordinating with internal and external partners to address systemic security issues.
- Foster a collaborative team environment where you mentor junior members and support the collective pursuit of our security objectives.
Who you are
You are a tech-savvy investigator with a proven track record of solving complex problems and conducting detailed monitoring. You have a passion for the AAA gaming security landscape and understand the importance of protecting the player experience. Your background includes:
- Proficiency in querying relational databases like SQL and working with big data services such as Redshift.
- Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau to interpret insights and present conclusive, actionable reports.
- The ability to distill complex data sets into clear theories that steer the team toward effective resolutions.
- A preference for candidates with experience in risk-based analysis of anomalies and those who are fluent in additional languages, such as Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese, or Spanish.
