THE KEY BITS
- Location: We can currently only accept applications from candidates that are located and have long-term working rights in the UK.
- Flexibility: We have an office hub in the UK as well as no-office hubs in several European countries. We operate a choice-first work approach that lets you work fully remotely from Day One even if you’re near an office hub.
- Salary: We benchmarked ca.£80-95,000 + equity at IC3-IC4 level in our career framework for someone based in the UK.
- Interviews: 3 stages totalling around 3 hours over 2-3 weeks.
- Start date: As soon as you can start.

THE CHALLENGE
We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Editor Team.
Our mission is to uphold Juro Editor’s superiority by continually improving its flexibility, intuitiveness, and alignment with the specific requirements of the legal field. As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in making contract editing faster, smarter, and more seamless for our users.
Day to day, you’ll tackle complex challenges that require creativity and critical thinking. Some of the projects you’ll work on include:
- Building from scratch and enhancing the core editor experience, creating a dynamic interface that meets the specific demands of legal document creation.
- Designing and implementing innovative features using advanced rich text editing libraries (such as Prosemirror) to support sophisticated editing capabilities.
- Integrating and improving document conversion and preview functionalities (such as Docx and PDF) to streamline document handling.
- Bringing the Juro experience directly into Microsoft Word by developing a robust Word Add-in, extending our platform’s reach.
- Collaborating closely with other engineering teams and designers to develop robust, user-centric solutions.
- Enhancing our codebase with TypeScript and React, while implementing rigorous unit testing to uphold high code quality standards and best engineering principles.
- Working in a trunk-based development environment, committing code daily with a focus on CI/CD, automated testing, and quick development cycles.

On top of that, you have been part of a journey where:
- You were involved in the development of the core product features using TypeScript, Javascript, React and Node.
- You have a good understanding of and experience with native DOM API’s (e.g. drag&drop, element positioning, scrolling, etc)
- You have used any state management tools such as Redux, Flux, ReCoil, MobX (etc).
- You wrote unit and end-to-end tests using tools such as Mocha, Jest or similar.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with Material UI and Webpack.
- You have experience working with at least one of the following: rich text editing libraries (e.g. Prosemirror, Quill, CKEditor, or TinyMCE), Docx XML manipulation, or the Word JavaScript API.
