At Juro, we are on a mission to change how the world agrees on contracts. As the legal tech landscape evolves, we are positioning ourselves at the forefront of this shift, leveraging the power of automation and generative AI to make legal tasks faster and more efficient. We are a team with big ambitions, and we are looking for passionate people to help us build the go-to platform for managing contracts globally.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Editor team. Your primary focus will be to ensure our platform remains the most intuitive and flexible tool for legal professionals. You will report directly to Andrew, our Engineering Team Lead, and play a pivotal role in shaping how our users create and manage their documents. This is a full-time, hybrid position for candidates based in the United Kingdom, where you will help us build a seamless, smart, and highly functional editing experience.
A day in the life
- You will design and build core features from the ground up, utilizing advanced rich text editing libraries to create a dynamic interface that meets the unique demands of legal document creation.
- You will work on integrating document conversion and preview functionalities, while also extending our reach by developing a robust Microsoft Word Add-in.
- You will collaborate closely with designers and fellow engineers to maintain high code quality, using TypeScript and React while ensuring everything is backed by rigorous unit testing.
Who you are
You are a senior-level engineer who values autonomy, mentorship, and a results-oriented mindset. You are comfortable working in a trunk-based development environment and enjoy taking ownership of the features you build. We are looking for someone who brings the following experience:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.
- Experience with state management tools such as Redux and a solid understanding of native DOM APIs.
- Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests using tools like Mocha or similar frameworks.
- A background in rich text editing libraries, Docx XML manipulation, or the Word JavaScript API is highly valued.
- Fluency in English and long-term working rights within the United Kingdom.
Why you'll love it here
We believe in supporting our team through a culture of flexibility and growth. For this role, we offer a salary range of £100,000 to £115,000. Beyond the compensation, you will benefit from:
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our success.
- A hybrid work model that prioritizes your choice and flexibility, allowing you to work in a way that suits your lifestyle.
