The Role
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic Workflows Team, the driving force behind the products our internal and external users interact with daily.
The Workflows team is responsible for our web apps from DX to UX and everything in between.
As a small team, we’re all generalists constantly picking up new challenges. We are all makers at heart and care deeply about the quality of our work. We use TypeScript and build scalable systems so we can continuously make progress on a solid foundation. With our web apps being used for demoing to prospective clients and used daily by both internal & external users on any given week, you might:
- Work with Product & Sales to improve our demo environment
- Lead a release in collaboration with Cloud Engineering to deploy the latest version of our apps
- Join Client Success & Product to solve a challenge our users are facing
- Collaborate with Design on solving a UX issue
- Work with Product to lead the technical implementation of a Roadmap feature

In this role, you will:
- Build new user-facing features with everything from database models to REST endpoints and UI components
- Have ownership over core features in collaboration with Product and Design
- Make simplicity out of complexity (and don't mind refactoring to clean things up)
- Collaborate on API & Database architecture, prioritizing security, scalability & performance
- Add analytics, monitoring, and alerts to our service so that we can better respond to operational incidents
- Redefine best-in-class software development processes so that we can build the next generation of Health Tech products
You have:
- 7+ years experience with Typescript, SQL (Postgres, SQLite), NoSQL (Document, KV)
- 5+ years of experience with REST API design, data modeling and build web apps
- 3+ years of experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks (React or Angular)
- Event driven architecture and immutable data
- Testing strategies using Typescript (Jest, Playwright or similar testing frameworks)
- A strong, loosely held opinion about what a modern data stack looks like and what belongs or doesn’t belong in it
Nice to Haves:
- Nest.js, Nuxt, Prisma, Cloudflare Workers, Tailwind
- Continuous Integration, Monorepos, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, a plus
- Health Tech (payer side), a plus
Our Tech Stack:
- Node.js/NestJS REST API, with Prisma ORM & Postgres, Kafka (MSK), hosted on AWS with k8s
- Nuxt/Vue.js PWAs, hosted on Cloudflare with Cloudflare Workers/Pages
- Testing with Jest, Vitest, Playwright and Cypress
- Auth0, JWT for authentication/authorization
- Gitlab, Slack, Notion, Figma, Datadog, AWS Athena, Jira
- Design system with Vue/Tailwind(Unocss) component library
