About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for a full-time position. In this role, you will act as a well-rounded, T-shaped engineer who is passionate about the craft of programming. While we value a strong background in frontend development, you should be flexible enough to work across the entire stack and comfortable reasoning about end-to-end software architectures. You will join a closely-knit team that prioritizes pair programming, rich code reviews, and a bias for action in a fast-paced, lean environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product designers, managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences using React and other architectural frameworks.
• Take ownership of system design, architecture, and the development lifecycle, ensuring that we ship well-tested, robust software frequently.
• Mentor and guide junior team members while actively participating in testing, experimentation, and the discovery of innovative technical solutions.

Requirements

We are a technology-agnostic organization, so we prioritize your mindset and problem-solving abilities over mastery of every specific tool. However, the following qualifications are important to our team:

• Solid experience in software engineering with a strong product-centric mindset.
• Proficiency in React and architectural frameworks, along with an understanding of both functional and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of system design, design patterns, and cloud-native architectures, specifically within AWS environments.
• Experience working in a Lean or Agile development process.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to communicate effectively with developers, designers, and stakeholders across the business.

Location

This role is remote. We operate with a flexible, distributed workforce, allowing you to choose whether you work fully from home or from one of our office locations.
