What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join us on a full-time basis in Australia. This is a senior-level position where you will act as the technical lead for our Marketplace team. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing time between your home and our local office to create the best possible work blend. Your primary focus will be on making complex architectural decisions and driving innovation as we scale our platform.

What will you do?

• Lead the technical direction of the Marketplace team by working closely with product and technology leadership to solve real-world customer problems.
• Take full ownership of the delivery of complex features, which includes breaking down requirements and providing accurate estimates for your work.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain and improve our modern, MACH-based technology stack.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end coding languages and their associated frameworks. We value candidates who have experience with complex, enterprise-level eCommerce platforms and who can articulate the tradeoffs between effort and impact. You should be comfortable mentoring others and helping the team improve their overall delivery. While not strictly required, experience with MACH principles, microservice architectures, and database technologies like DynamoDB, Postgres, or MySQL will be highly regarded.
