The role
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Emerging Markets team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position based in Ireland. You will be a key contributor to high-impact initiatives across our product surfaces, moving beyond incremental updates to own projects from their initial conception all the way to production.
Core responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy backend services, experiments, and product features that support our growth in international markets.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences while maintaining clear communication across disciplines.
- Shape our team strategy by actively participating in planning, providing technical insights during product reviews, and helping to prioritize complex project needs.
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years of software development experience using front-end focused languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or ES6.
- Professional experience working with Python or Go.
- Proficiency with front-end web frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, LIT, or Polymer, along with a strong grasp of CSS.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, and HTTP, with the ability to design maintainable APIs.
- A background in A/B testing, hypothesis building, and industry best practices.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by a bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a self-directed approach to building new products.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss complex technical topics with both technical and non-technical partners in a remote environment.
