Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at Gynger

We are Gynger, the first AI-powered payments platform that integrates embedded financing for technology buyers and sellers. We are currently defining a new category within the fintech space, backed by top-tier venture capital firms, including a recent $20 million Series A round led by PayPal Ventures. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a unique chance to work on a global scale and help shape the future of our platform from the ground floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of our SaaS and fintech platform across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and architects to solve complex challenges and build delightful user experiences.
• Maintain high engineering standards by writing clean, efficient code and participating in thoughtful code reviews with your peers.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in software engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with TypeScript, specifically using React for front-end development and Node.js for the back-end.
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications within cloud environments like Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong ability to translate design concepts and wireframes into functional, high-quality UI components.
• Ideally, you have a background in the fintech sector and experience designing backend business logic and data flows.
• Our stack relies on PostgreSQL and Firestore, so familiarity with these technologies is highly beneficial.
