We are Knock, a company dedicated to transforming the home buying and selling experience through innovation. Since 2015, we have helped thousands of customers navigate the real estate market with our unique bridge loan solutions, and we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help us continue building the future of homeownership.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performing web applications that serve our customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate across teams with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful technology solutions.
- Champion high standards for architecture, testing, and deployment to ensure our systems remain scalable and secure.
- Prioritize user experience by integrating accessibility and usability best practices into every feature you develop.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the professional growth of your peers.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to maintain system reliability and performance.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience writing production-level React.js code.
- Expertise in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services using GraphQL.
- Proficiency with backend development in Node.js and the ability to work with SQL queries.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
- A proven track record of success working in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Next.js or Svelte.
- Experience with performance optimization, monitoring, and debugging tools.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $170,000 USD.
