Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Prompt

We are now seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering organization and help address the next set of complex challenges in the healthcare industry.

Key outcomes

• Shape the technical direction of the engineering team and contribute to overall product architecture decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications that guide the development of upcoming product features.
• Lead engineering grooming sessions and coordinate accurate effort estimations for new work.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to support their professional growth and technical development.
• Design and implement new features that directly enhance the platform used by rehabilitation organizations.
• Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and consistency across the codebase.
• Contribute to design reviews, product retrospectives, and other collaborative team ceremonies.
• Conduct technical interviews to help identify and onboard strong engineering candidates.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional software development experience with a primary focus on full-stack web applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs.
• A genuine interest in contributing to product growth, team development, and the long-term direction of Prompt Therapy Solutions.
• Practical experience with modern web development technologies, including at least one of the following stacks: PHP with Laravel and Vue.js paired with MySQL, or equivalent technologies such as Ruby, Node.js, React, Angular, Postgres, or MSSQL.
• Prior experience building enterprise-grade software systems.
• Familiarity with MVC architectural patterns.

Preferred qualifications

• Additional depth in multiple backend and frontend frameworks beyond the core stack.
• Experience working within healthcare technology or similarly regulated industries.
