About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will take ownership of our claims offering features from start to finish. You will be responsible for creating a smooth, efficient claims experience that provides real value to our customers, including drivers, fleets, and brokers, as well as our internal claims adjusters. As claims represent the most significant insurance-related interaction for our users, your work will be a vital part of our mission and our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build integrated systems and APIs to enhance the end-to-end claims experience for our customers.
- Collaborate with our data science team to incorporate telematics data, machine learning assessments, and image processing to automate claims and improve efficiency for adjusters.
- Set a high standard for engineering excellence by writing well-tested, clean code, developing reusable libraries, and mentoring junior members of the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in backend software development, specifically focused on building performant and scalable production-grade systems.
- Proficiency with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Python and web frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP APIs, message brokers, and both relational and non-structured databases like PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
- Experience working within containerized Linux environments in the cloud, specifically AWS.
- A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts, along with the ability to thrive in a highly agile and iterative development environment.
Location
This position is based in Israel.
