We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will help build the technology that discovers and supports our founders. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a high-autonomy environment where accountability is key.
Key outcomes
- Develop and maintain our internal platform to support both our fund operations and the growth of our portfolio companies.
- Write clean, scalable, and high-quality code from development through to production.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to make sound architectural decisions.
- Utilize React, Node.js, and GCP to deliver robust full-stack solutions.
- Iterate quickly by shipping small, impactful updates to our software.
- Participate in technical discussions to ensure our product decisions align with our broader business goals.
Requirements
- Between 5 and 8 years of professional experience in building scalable software products.
- Strong commercial background in front-end development using React and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in architecting and securing REST APIs using Node.js.
- Solid expertise in database design using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- A genuine enthusiasm for applying technology to solve complex business problems.
- Professional proficiency in English.

- Practical experience working with serverless architecture.
- A strong interest in leveraging AI to address business challenges.
- A passion for the startup ecosystem, which will assist in understanding the products we build.
- A collaborative mindset, characterized by drive, respect for colleagues, and a focus on achieving results.
Compensation
We offer a hybrid work arrangement, requiring two days per week in our central Sydney office. Our culture is non-hierarchical and results-focused, providing you with significant autonomy. Additionally, we provide a long-term incentive plan tied to the success of our global investment funds and support your growth through regular technical presentations led by senior team members.
