At Quantum Circuits Inc., we are pushing the boundaries of what is possible by building the world’s first truly algorithmic quantum computers. Our work is rooted in a decade of groundbreaking research from Yale University, and we are now scaling our modular, superconducting architecture to achieve transformational computing capabilities. We are looking for a visionary engineer to join our mission and help us shape the future of technology.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, though you should be prepared for occasional travel to our main office in New Haven, CT. You will be a key contributor to our software platform, working across the entire development lifecycle to build tools that power our quantum systems.
Your impact
- Collaborate with our scientists and product managers to turn complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Architect and maintain high-performance web applications and back-end systems that scale from concept to production.
- Mentor junior team members while ensuring our codebase remains clean, well-documented, and efficient through rigorous code reviews.
What you'll need
You should be an expert in both front-end and back-end development with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. We value candidates who have a strong foundation in Python and proficiency in modern front-end frameworks like React. You should also be comfortable working with SQL databases, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. We are looking for someone who can communicate technical concepts clearly in English and thrives in a collaborative environment. Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and RESTful APIs is highly preferred. A degree in a STEM field is required, and we are happy to offer sponsorship for the right candidate.
Perks and compensation
- Flexible remote work arrangements.
- The opportunity to work at the cutting edge of quantum computing research.
