The role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our SaaS department in Israel on a full-time, on-site basis. This position is designed for a technical leader who views frontend development as both a rigorous science and a creative art. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our frontend strategy, ensuring our weather products remain both technically robust and exceptionally user-friendly for our global customer base.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the frontend development efforts for our primary SaaS platform while driving key architectural decisions.
• Design and implement high-performance, scalable client applications using microfrontend architectures.
• Collaborate across teams to build seamless full-stack solutions, utilizing Node.js and microservices to deliver complex, map-based visualizations and advanced UI components.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in both frontend and backend development, along with a commitment to clean, maintainable code.

• At least 4 years of professional frontend experience, with deep expertise in React and its ecosystem.
• Solid proficiency in Webpack and modern build tools to optimize performance and asset delivery.
• At least 2 years of backend experience, including working knowledge of Node.js and microservices.
• Experience with WebGL or similar browser-based rendering technologies is highly valued.
• A proven ability to design modular, scalable frontend architectures and a passion for optimizing performance metrics.
• Strong self-management skills with a focus on taking full ownership of projects from conception to delivery.
