Senior Full Stack Engineer at Esusu

The role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position for an engineer who wants to take ownership of complex challenges and help us scale our impact. You will report to our Client Products Engineering Manager and work alongside a collaborative, agile team to build the next generation of customer-facing applications for our enterprise partners.

Core responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of our cloud-based services, including our web application back ends, customer-facing APIs, and data integrations.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and business stakeholders to design and deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor fellow developers, maintain existing systems through testing and refactoring, and ensure our documentation remains clear and helpful.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a preference for back-end expertise. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Fluency in our core languages, specifically Go and TypeScript.
• Deep experience building scalable microservices within AWS environments.
• Proficiency with database management using PostgreSQL.
• Mastery of modern development practices, including TDD, Agile, and DevOps.
• A strong grasp of security protocols and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Compensation and benefits
