We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Vantage, a FinOps platform that helps organizations of all sizes optimize and visualize their cloud infrastructure costs. With $25 million in venture capital backing and a customer base that includes industry leaders like Square, Vercel, and FanDuel, we are a team of 50 professionals dedicated to building powerful, user-focused cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our leadership and founders to ideate, discover, and implement new product features.
- Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from initial concept to tracking the impact on our customers.
- Design and guide technical architecture decisions to ensure our platform scales effectively.
- Build robust, scalable solutions by working across our entire frontend and backend stack.
- Engage directly with users during customer calls to better understand their needs and pain points.
- Mentor other engineers on the team to foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with a history of delivering high-impact features.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails or comparable modern web frameworks.
- A generalist mindset with comfort working across both frontend and backend systems.
- A preference for simple, maintainable designs and a strong intuition for scalable architecture.
- A product-focused approach and a genuine passion for delighting customers.
- Fluency in English.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Background in building data visualization tools or working with financial software products.
Benefits
