Senior Full Stack Engineer at Coperniq

We are Coperniq, a Y Combinator-backed startup supported by Initialized Capital, and we are working to transform the renewable energy sector through innovative software. We build essential infrastructure that empowers clean energy contractors to grow and succeed. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our small, high-impact team. What you'll be doing

• You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack solutions that form the backbone of our platform.
• You will collaborate directly with our product, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure we deliver high-quality features that provide a seamless experience for our users.
• You will take ownership of key technical decisions and help define our development roadmap while mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, paired with at least 7 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Deep proficiency in our core technology stack, which includes AWS, React, GraphQL, TypeScript, Node.js, MikroORM, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to lead projects from initial concept through to final implementation and feedback.
• A proven ability to design complex user interactions and integrate them with robust server-side API calls.
• Bonus points if you have prior experience in the SaaS or renewable energy industries, or familiarity with SOC II compliance and real-time data integration.
