The role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position perfect for an entrepreneurial developer who thrives in an environment that prizes impact and flexibility. You will play a critical role in architecting and developing our application, which is built on a modern stack including Scala, Play 2, and React. Core responsibilities

• Research and execute backend architecture improvements while deploying scalable API endpoints.
• Build and maintain frontend features by utilizing React components, Chakra, and Storybook.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks while establishing documentation and processes to elevate our overall code quality.

Skills and experience

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, along with experience in Scala or a related language like Java, Ruby, or C#.
• A proven track record of building and maintaining SaaS products at scale.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical leadership roles is highly valued.
