We are GrayMatter Robotics, a well-funded AI robotics startup based in sunny Los Angeles. We are dedicated to transforming the manufacturing industry by empowering shop floor workers with smart robots that handle tedious and physically demanding tasks, particularly in automated surface finishing. Through our proprietary GMR-AI software and a Robot-as-a-Service model, we help our customers increase production capacity while significantly reducing scrap and rework costs. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help us build the interfaces that our customers rely on every single day.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, improve, and extend the APIs that power our on-premise and cloud-based applications.
- You will build and maintain a high-performance, customer-facing front-end application that allows users to configure automated finishing tasks and visualize critical environmental data.
- You will develop robust systems to synchronize data seamlessly between our on-premise hardware and the cloud.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building reliable, user-centric products. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and experience:
- A degree in software development or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python and AWS tooling.
- Strong experience in front-end development using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, CORS, and modern authentication systems.
- Experience with development tools such as NPM.
- The ability to communicate technical design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
- Fluency in English and valid work authorization in the United States.
What you'll get
The base salary for this position is $170,000 - $200,000 USD. In addition to your salary, you will receive the following benefits and perks:
