We are Polly, a well-funded and growing company that provides a leading engagement app for Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Our team is globally distributed, and we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join us in a full-time, remote capacity to help us scale our platform and support data-driven decision-making for teams everywhere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the systems powering our popular polls, surveys, and feedback workflows across major communication platforms.
- Deliver high-quality software while collaborating closely with our tight-knit engineering team.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, ranging from initial design and iteration to final deployment.
- Manage and automate our cloud and containerization infrastructure.
- Engage in DevOps rotations to ensure the stability of our production environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of our engineering team.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of experience in commercial software development, specifically within B2B, SaaS, or cloud-based environments.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end solutions across all layers of an architecture, with proficiency in Node and React.
- Practical experience working with GraphQL and Kafka.
- A user-centered mindset with the ability to balance user needs against technical constraints.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive projects from start to finish.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
- Experience working effectively within a remote team.
- The ability to overlap your working hours with the Pacific time zone.
- Fluency in English.
