Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Owl Labs

At Owl Labs, we are dedicated to bridging the gap for hybrid teams and classrooms through our innovative technology. We are best known for the Meeting Owl, a smart, all-in-one 360-degree camera, microphone, and speaker system that uses advanced vision and voice recognition to create immersive, equalized meeting experiences. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing the core technology behind our robotics-inspired IoT products, collaborating closely with our design, product, and marketing teams to build new ecosystems and interactive experiences for our global customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features and user interfaces that allow our customers to seamlessly manage and interact with our hardware products.
• Develop and maintain new applications for our hardware platforms that interface with our cloud endpoints, third-party services, and the underlying hardware itself.
• Build out robust infrastructure and delivery pipelines, creating internal tooling that empowers our team to work more efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a strong portfolio demonstrating your work on web-based applications.
• At least 5 years of professional experience building complex platforms on AWS or similar cloud providers, alongside significant experience developing frontends for sophisticated applications.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience working with NodeJS, React, and Electron frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of both SQL and No-SQL database systems.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for documentation and a collaborative approach to solving technical challenges.
