The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our experienced engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in scaling our platform to deliver near real-time performance insights to our clients. You will report directly to the Director of Product Engineering and work on features that empower our internal teams to optimize multi-channel campaigns and manage high-quality respondent samples. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Canada, where you will have the chance to make a tangible impact on our core infrastructure.
A day in the life
- Collaborate closely with your colleagues to solve complex business challenges through high-quality technical implementations on our platform.
- Contribute to the evolution of our GraphQL API, service architecture, queuing systems, and database infrastructure to ensure our systems remain robust and scalable.
- Participate in DevOps initiatives and maintain our internal design system to improve our development velocity and uphold modern frontend standards.
Who you are
You are a seasoned developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong desire for continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, you should have the following background:
- Extensive experience with Ruby and Rails, specifically in deploying and maintaining applications within a production environment.
- Proficiency in working with open source API gems.
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent listening skills, a high level of transparency, and a keen eye for detail.
- A willingness to mentor others and share your technical expertise.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Bonus points if you have prior experience with DevOps practices or building and maintaining design systems.
