The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will take ownership of critical system design and feature development, working in three-week sprints to solve real-world data challenges. You will sit at the intersection of data management and product success, building the tools that allow our teams to provide actionable insights to our clients. This is a unique chance to influence our architecture and contribute to a platform that is both scalable and reliable.

A day in the life

• You will own the end-to-end development of features, guiding them from the initial planning phase all the way to a successful production launch.
• You will work within a modern, event-driven architecture using Python for the backend and React for the frontend, while leveraging tools like Dagster for orchestration and Clickhouse for data management.
• You will design and maintain scalable systems on AWS, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and capable of handling the complexities of the retail data domain.

Who you are

You are an experienced developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, ideally having served in a senior capacity previously. You are fluent in English and possess a deep understanding of how to build and maintain production-grade systems. You are a proactive problem-solver who values clean code and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Your technical toolkit includes:

• Strong Python proficiency, with experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with OLAP databases like Clickhouse or Snowflake, and familiarity with orchestration tools like Dagster.
• A solid grasp of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and experience with queueing systems like RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices, with Terraform being a significant plus.
• The ability to design fault-tolerant system architectures that can grow alongside our business.
