We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. At Accrue, we provide a branded wallet platform that allows merchants to launch their own stored value and payment experiences. Our technology helps businesses reduce transaction costs by 80 percent, while simultaneously increasing average order values by 20 percent and customer lifetime value by 25 percent. By helping merchants bypass traditional payment duopolies, we are building a product that truly helps people save. We value a bias for action and rapid iteration, so if you enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment, you will fit right in with our engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy robust systems and services that directly support our core product goals.
- Collaborate with our product managers and UX designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Break down complex technical challenges into simple, scalable, and event-driven solutions while mentoring the team on effective architectural patterns.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of front-end development experience, with a deep proficiency in TypeScript, Node, and React.
- Proven ability to write reliable, reusable code using Next.js and Nest.js, alongside strong skills in CSS and HTML.
- Solid experience working with relational databases and a demonstrated talent for troubleshooting complex system interdependencies.
- A degree in a computer science related field or an equivalent amount of professional software development experience.
What we offer
- Comprehensive medical insurance, including two plans that offer zero-cost coverage for your entire family.
- A company-contributed 401k plan to support your long-term financial health.
- A supportive, empathetic work environment that prioritizes mental wellness and a healthy work-life balance.
- The opportunity to work from our brand new office in New York City.
- A ground-floor opportunity to help bring a unique, innovative financial product to market.
