Role at a glance
We are searching for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a remote position available to candidates anywhere in the world. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our enterprise-scale applications, working within a collaborative, cross-functional environment to deliver high-quality solutions for the scientific community.
Your impact
- Take ownership of application maintenance and strategic enhancements to ensure our platform delivers peak performance and a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate closely with UX design, product management, and quality assurance teams to refine features and establish robust data contracts.
- Act as a mentor to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and sharing your technical expertise to elevate our collective development standards.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-scale frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 14+ and its core design paradigms.
- A track record of working effectively with UX designers and design systems.
- Experience building applications that manage large file transfers and interact with cloud storage services like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
- A collaborative mindset with a habit of documenting your work and sharing knowledge across a globally distributed team.
