Senior Frontend Software Engineer at Archer

We are currently designing, manufacturing, and operating all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft capable of carrying four passengers with minimal noise. What you'll be doing

• You will take ownership of the front-end architecture for our flagship consumer ride-sharing product, playing a central role in how travelers interact with our urban air mobility services.
• You will develop high-quality, intuitive user interfaces using React and React Native to ensure a seamless experience across our web and mobile applications.
• You will collaborate with world-class designers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex product requirements into functional, performant, and accessible interfaces.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building user-centric applications. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, specifically focused on frontend development.
• Deep technical expertise in React and React Native.
• Proficiency with modern web technologies, including TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• A solid understanding of UI/UX principles, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
• Experience using Git for version control and a proven ability to build applications from the ground up.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluency in English.

For this full-time, on-site position, the base pay range is $134,000 - $168,000. Your final compensation will be based on your specific skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
