Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a remote role open to candidates located anywhere. You will be a key contributor in an early-stage startup environment, working closely with our engineering team and cross-functional partners to shape the technical foundation of our products.

Your impact

• Lead the technical architecture for complex requirements, setting high standards for our engineering practices and solving open-ended problems.
• Own key components of our codebase while actively mentoring squad members and performing architecture and code reviews to ensure long-term system health.
• Drive the delivery of large-scale technical efforts, balancing immediate product needs with the scalability required for our future growth.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience designing and engineering systems that scale rapidly, ideally within an early-stage startup environment.
• Strong proficiency in React JS, TypeScript, and Django, along with experience working with REST APIs and SQL.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, capable of guiding technical strategy while working alongside diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience in Agile development and a proven ability to balance strategic goals with tactical execution.
• A background in PHI-heavy environments and experience collaborating with outsourced engineering teams are considered significant assets.
